Exclusion – Generative Artificial Intelligence

What it does

The same generative AI exclusion written for the standalone products and completed operations coverage part: bodily injury or property damage arising out of generative AI is removed from Section I. This is the form that reaches a product after it is sold. A hardware, drone or robotics company whose shipped product carries a model that creates responses is the company this endorsement was written about, and it is the one to look for on a products policy.

Where it applies

Multistate advisory filing; adoption is optional per insurer. See CG 40 47 for the adoption count.

This page describes coverage in general terms. It is not an offer of insurance, and carrier appetite, policy wording, licensing, and availability govern every quote and every claim.
